About

ABOUT US

Founded in June 2022, Sea Strong Bahamas is a student-led, non-profit organization building a brighter, more sustainable future for The Bahamas through education, fundraising, and community service. We aim to tackle the environmental issues that impact our communities the most (including land and water pollution, coral reef decay, natural disaster destruction, and ecosystem deterioration) and ensure The Bahamas' natural beauty is sustained for generations to come.

What We Do

WHAT WE DO

Our multidisciplinary approach to environmental advocacy allows us to further our impact by acting as an educational resource, community service hub, and fundraising catalyst all in one.

Giving a Speech

EDUCATION & RESEARCH

Through our inquisitive research, fact-based educational content, and informational speaker seminars, we help to highlight endangered species, untangle environmental concepts, discuss news and current events, and act as an easily accessible resource for Bahamian youth.

COMMUNITY

SERVICE

Community is at the heart of everything we do. Through our community service volunteering, we seek to find tactile solutions to emerging problems and work directly with our local communities to organize service-based activities, gatherings, and campaigns that help to make real, tangible change.

Charity Volunteers

FUNDRAISING/ PHILANTHROPY

We not only collaborate with other Bahamian non-profit organizations, charities, and foundations but help to amplify their efforts and act as a catalyst for change by donating the proceeds we raise from our fundraisers, large-scale events, crowdfunding campaigns, and fundraising initiatives.
